Too Much Cash

Ok so the transfer window is shut after a flurry of loan moves but ....
there was a LOT of big spending this season and it seems almost ridiculous!

The English Premier League is regarded as one of the best leagues in the world. Players from all over the world seek lucrative deals playing for one of the top clubs. But when a club like Man City literally says - "Money is not an object" then the sky is the limit.
They were looking to sign Zlatan Ibrahimovic from Barcelona and offered him a massive a four-year deal worth £96m - or roughly £500,000 a week. It would've made him by far the highest paid footballer in the world. Surely this is ridiculous?! Another striker to add to the already 4 or 5 they have! It means too that great players will be benched at a fee. We won't get to see players like Adebayor or Roque Santa Cruz playing more than 15 minutes in the league games! Which is lame........ok they did get rid or Robhino after 2 seasons but still, what the hell did he do for the club - nada!
Unless Ibrahimovic scores a hatrick every week then the deal would never be worth it. He will make more than players like Ronaldo and Kaka - where in my opinion he is not a better player!! But how does this get regulated? The prices will keep going up and up -meanwhile all the clubs are in heaps of debt!
Should government interject by imposing salary caps?
What is the best way forward??
